Top Tier's 11-U American 2011 season was highlighted by an overall record of 55-3-1 and won 5 out of 7 tournaments they entered including a perfect season (28-0) in the Mid Suburban Baseball League as well as the 2011 CABA World Series Champions. More impressive than the overall record was that the team closed out the season (including the MSBL Tournament, Benny Newsome Tournament and CABA World Series) with a 50-1-1 record.
Led by CABA World Series MVP Jed Thomas (.512 BA, 75 RBI's & 1.34 ERA over 62.7 IP), CABA World Series Most Valuable Pitcher Gage Olszak (2.96 ERA over 80.3 IP, 99 K's & .481 BA), CABA All-Tournament Team & Gold Glove Winner Caleb Durbin (.461 BA, .541 OBP & 95 Runs Scored in 59 games), CABA All-Tournament Team Bryce Moskiewicz (3.29 ERA over 44.7 IP & Team High 7 HR's), Dave Navarro (.462 BA), Seamus Welsh (.432 BA & 62 RBI's), Mike Skoraczewski (.417 BA), Joe Trezek (.415 BA & 9 3B's), Davonta Smith (6 HR's & numerous highlight-reel defensive plays) and Ethan Tosheff, Top Tier added 2 players who deserve recognition for participating in the CABA World Series including 9-Year Old Marcus Kinney (from Saudi Arabia, .400 BA throughout CABA) and Jack Warshawsky (posted a 1.00 ERA over 7 IP with a .625 BA & 1 HR in CABA).
