Top Tier Class of 2013 prospect Brett Shimanovsky has committed to St. Louis University. The LHP, from Highland Park HS, played for the Top Tier 16u team last season and will be playing with Top Tier once again this upcoming summer. Shimanovsky is the 3rd Top Tier player from the Class of 2013 to commit. 
Shimanovsky, No. 21 in Prep Baseball Report’s Class of 2013 rankings, is a 6-foot, 170-pounder with a three-pitch repertoire, including a deceptive mid-80s fastball. As a sophomore, Shimanovsky earned some big wins on varsity for Highland Park and during the summer for Top Tier.
