Sean Buccholz, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound RHP from Barrington HS, has committed to John A. Logan JC. Buccholz has been one of the top prospects in the class since his freshman year, when he first began earning varsity wins. Long and loose, Buccholz features an 85-88 mph fastball to go along with a hard, sharp-breaking slider. Buccholz marks the second Barrington pitcher to commit this week, joining LHP Robby McDonnell, who picked the University of Illinois.
