Kyle Hunter led Number-20 Kansas State to a 2-1 victory over top ranked Texas last week in Manhattan, KS. This was the first victory in school history against a number-1 team. Hunter threw the series opener last Friday tossing 6 innings, giving up 1 run on 7 hits, while striking out 6. Texas had been on a 21-game winning streak averaging nearly 7 runs per game this year.
