Top Tier Central Tryout Info

Top Tier has evolved from its inception in 2004 to one of the elite amateur baseball organizations in the country. The strength of our program lies in our commitment to developing players and building confidence through hard work and dedication.

At the high school level we design our program to maximize the exposure of our players by playing a competitive regional schedule combined with strategic elite national events. Our high school schedule provides players the platform to showcase their abilities in front of the top schools and scouts across the country. Over the past several years, Top Tier players have committed to schools in the Power Five Conferences and more including BIG 10, SEC, ACC, PAC 12, BIG 12, Big East, Missouri Valley, and Ivy League among others.

Top Tier has always maintained the singular goal of player development. Winning is what we always strive for, but is a byproduct of constant, daily improvement.

Top Tier Central - Peoria / Bloomington / Champaign enters year three with the Top Tier program for the 2023-2024 season. Top Tier Central is operated by Josh Weeks. Josh was a Michigan All-State selection at shortstop and pitcher for Lansing Eastern High School where he earned a selection for the Michigan High School Coaches all-star game at Tiger Stadium. Josh went on to play for Michigan State University where he was a 4 year starting pitcher and was recognized as All Big Ten Honorable Mention his senior year. He was later inducted into the Lansing Eastern Athletics Hall of Fame in 2019. He is looking forward to bringing his knowledge and passion for the game to the Peoria / Bloomington area.
