Social Media / Content Creator


Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative individual to join our team as a Social Media and Content Creator Intern. The ideal candidate will be a proactive thinker, driven by creativity, and eager to explore new concepts and ideas.

Responsibilities:

  • Capture and create engaging content (photos, videos, stories) during games, tournaments and practices

  • Curate, edit, and publish content across various social media platforms including but not limited to X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube

  • Monitor social media trends and stay updated with industry changes to ensure content remains current and appealing

  • Collaborate with your lead and other Top Tier personnel to brainstorm and execute new social media strategies and ideas

  • Pack and organize content for scheduled social media postings

  • Prioritize and commit dedicated time during the summer months with availability on weekends

Requirements:

  • Strong familiarity and proficiency in various social media platforms

  • A passion for understanding and staying current with social media trends

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to experiment and innovate

  • Ability to shoot and edit high-quality visual content

  • Flexibility to work weekends as needed

Preferred (but not required) Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite, Experience with Adobe Suite, including Photoshop and Premiere Pro

Location: Candidates based in the Chicagoland area are preferred but not mandatory.

Duration: This internship is a summer position.

Marketing


Position Overview:

As a Marketing Intern at Top Tier Baseball, you'll be instrumental in engaging our audience, helping manage and coordinating our social presence, and elevating our brand across multiple channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead engagement on our website and social media platforms by curating captivating content

  • Foster connections with players, families, alumni, and satellite directors to enhance our community engagement

  • Maintain and enhance our website to ensure a great user experience

  • Coordinate marketing efforts across our nationwide satellite programs

  • Execute marketing initiatives and devise projects to bolster brand awareness

  • Commit to prioritizing the internship during the summer, including weekday and occasional weekend work

Requirements:

  • A determined and passionate individual eager to excel in a fast-paced marketing environment

  • Socially adept with a flair for experimenting with new ideas and turning visions into reality

  • Proficiency in Google Suite and exceptional written communication skills

  • Comfortable speaking in public or large gatherings, and confident in actively participating in meetings

  • Willingness to assist with merchandise and gear sales when necessary

Top Tier Baseball offers a versatile summer internship that offers individuals various tasks within our organization. From assisting with tryouts to supporting marketing, merchandise and social media efforts, no two days are the same!

Position Overview:
We're seeking adaptable individuals who thrive in a diverse range of responsibilities. As a General Intern at Top Tier Baseball, you'll experience a multitude of tasks, contributing to different facets of our organization. This role requires a strong work ethic, flexibility, and an attitude geared toward embracing a myriad of assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with tryouts, events, and tournaments as needed

  • Support marketing and social media initiatives under guidance

  • Engage in diverse tasks as assigned, ensuring a proactive and enthusiastic approach

  • Collaborate with various teams and departments across the organization

  • Adapt to changing priorities and contribute positively to different projects

Requirements:

  • Based in the Chicagoland area with reliable transportation

  • Availability to work weekends is essential for this role

  • No specific major or field of study required; a strong work ethic and do-it-all mentality are key

  • Willingness to undertake diverse tasks and responsibilities as directed

  • Ability to report to the brand manager and head coaches as needed throughout the summer

Coaching Apprenticeship


Position Overview:
We are seeking an eager individual who has a desire to pursue coaching as a profession. Applicants should exude a passion for coaching, training and developing athletes into better ballplayers and young men off the field. This position will report to a head coach; our head coaches have years of coaching experience which will undoubtedly help you learn what it takes to coach at a high-level organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist head coaches with various in-game and off-day responsibilities (Ex. lineups, training, practices, submitting rosters, etc.)

  • Offering instruction to athletes to help them better perform on the field in a digestible, understandable manner

  • Travel with a team to games and tournaments and fully immerse yourself in the 'grind' of the summer schedule

  • Responsibilities could include hitting fungos and throwing batting practice pre-game and on off-days

  • Ability to use data and technology as a resource and implement such findings in-game

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with high school and youth athletes

  • Reliable transportation

  • Must be able to work/coach weekends
